Stanford School of Medicine – Lab Day 14

Maxiprep extraction for the RSV plasmid using the Zymo kit was performed on the transformed RSV culture grown in a flask with LB broth and ampicillin overnight. 400 uL of the RSV plasmid at a concentration of 1829.9 ng/uL was obtained. Transfection of the RSV plasmid into mammalian cells to express and purify the protein will occur soon.

Stanford School of Medicine – Lab Day 13

The transformed RSV bacterial culture with LB broth and ampicillin was set up to grow overnight in the incubator. Maxiprep extraction will be performed tomorrow.
